As I’ve said in previous posts, North Wales has some wonderful scenery whatever the weather. Autumn has arrived now, so I thought I’d post the first batch of pictures.
The day was cloudy but patches of sun kept lighting up the hillsides. This is the first view of the Snowdon range from Llynau Mymbyr.
Sunlight kept lighting up the autumn colours.
The lower slopes are lit up by autumn sunshine, whilst the peak of Snowdon (to the left) and Crib Goch (right) remain in shadow.
The hills around Llyn Ogwen showing patches of sunlight.
This beautiful colouring was between Capel Curig and Betws y Coed.
It’s been a wet October, so it was nice to see this rainbow, Gods promise never to flood the world again!
We had our first snow on the 28th October, very early for this area. These shots were taken from my front door, the first on the 28th, the next on the 29th.
Hopefully there will be more autumn pictures to follow, before winter really sets in.
